The blood-sucking mosquitoes are infamous for spreading some of the deadliest diseases like malaria, dengue, brain fever, cerebral malaria and filariasis. And contrary to popular belief some of the mosquitoes, like the one causing dengue fever and Chikungunya, feed during the daytime as well.

Mosquitoes are generally attracted to warm and humid weather and lay eggs in still water, even a small cup full of water can be a breeding ground for them.
